In Mrs. Helten classes they are learning about ration
an proportion. Ok here's an example of ration an
proportion 80 = x . For the students to
get the answer they firs have to multiply 80 times 50
and multiply the answer would be 4000 but they are not
done yet they have to divid by a 100. then the answer
is 40.

In Mrs. Johanssen`s class they have vocabulary. Thier
vocabulary is -ize or they say
-yze,sub-,some,co,-ous,-age. -Ous means full of
(something.) -Age means actions or process. For an
example Mrs.Johanssen said that in process means
package or packing or you keep on moving around. Tenn
means teenage because if you use teen+age means
teenage. They are also doing book reports on the books
they read the book then they make a summary over what
they make a summary of what they read and what they
learned.

In Social Studies, students are exploring the early
civilization of Mesopotamia. The students are going to
write a persuasive paper on the importance of a
particular innovation. They are working on a word wall
of the Egyptians.
Science

In Ms. Kennedy's 6th grade science class they are
learning about animals. They are learning about
different types of fish and information about them. For
example what fish like to eat and the different organs
that they have. Ms. Kennedy is also teaching her class
about reptiles and amphibians and where they live.
Students are drawing pictures of these animals. They
are taking notes about them and writing summaries over
what they've learned.
