In Mrs. Graber's class
the eighth graders are getting ready to start this one
page essay
about "how am I doing" it's going to be about all the things they did in class and how well
it helped them. They can make it a show or a commercial also. Then they write in their
notebooks about how well they are doing in class. Once you get to know Mrs. Graber
you will think she is a cool teacher, and she is.

In Ms. Gonzales' class,
the students are comparing and contrasting the
Democratic Republican and Federalist political parties
from the early United States. They are also discussing
the Louisiana Purchase from an American, Native
American, and Spanish perspectives. Students are also
working on persuasive writing about whether the Indian
Removal Act was right or wrong.

Ms.Brown's 8th grade
science are working on the adaptations of animals and
also on Survival of the fittest, etc.
In 8th grade science Mr. Clark is working on West Nile Virus and is working with groups and that will give their presentation to the SGCO Health Dept. on friday Nov.2.
Project-Based Leaning solving the Issues with West Nile Virus Tasks.

*What has been its impact?
*How can we help our citizens prevent getting this Virus?
* write a paper and makes a presentation to members of Wichita Environment services department
